UBERTI COLT 1873 CALVRY FIRE BLUED OLDER REVOLVER
Description: A Uberti older made 1873 Colt Calvry model with a 7 1/2" barrel and excellent bore , and this fine gun has the earlier Colt type fire blue, and bone color case hardened frame. Comes with it's box and this fine gun has fired about 50 live rounds and about 200 blanks. Lock-up is like new, and sold through Cimmarron, it has the Ainsworth proofs and U.S markings, even the walnut grips have the inspector cartouche. there is color loss on the back strap not from wear but something removed the finish like a liquid, salad dressing with vinegar? orange peel? Not sure they make the Colt fire blue finish any more. Butt of this fine revolver states : CO.E 7CAV. and here is what Cimmarron has to say about this fine gun:George Armstrong Custer’s 7th Cavalry Model. The Custer 7th Cavalry Model is a very accurate copy of the first U.S. Gov’t models of 1873. These early firearms are inspected for ordinance by civilian inspector Orville W. Ainsworth, shipped to Ft. Lincoln and used by troops of the 7th Cavalry under the command of Gen. George Armstrong Custer. Each authentic firearm is properly marked with “Ainsworth” inspection markings, OWA Cartouche, 2 line patent dates and U.S. on the frame. Stamped into the butt of the backstrap is the company and 7th Cavalry markings. Production of this model is limited to 2000 units each of the 5 companies (C,E,F,I,L) that will perish under Custer’s command at Little Big Horn. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in. If you can only pay with a card let me know. I’m sorry I don’t list my phone number, did that for 30 days, never again.. I can’t talk on the phone all day…who will ship the guns? I’m just one person, and it’s very busy here! I do a brisk volume! I hope you like my wide selection of unusual guns, knives and gun parts. Shipping price determined by zip code. A phone call won’t secure a sale! Not home many times, the first buyer by email buys the gun !Thissite does not close down a sale when you do a BUY! I can get six buy it nows in an hour, first buyer to email gets the guns, others are in second place! Best to send another email . Sometimes not home to get calls.
