Rare 3rd Gen reproduction single action revolver designed with five-time world champion Cowboy Action Shooter Dennis “China Camp" Ming, with a limited production run of 1500 units made making this revolver desirable for any Cowboy action gun collection. This gun comes from the collection of retired Texas Ranger Ron C. Stewart, and features the Silver Steel Competition finish, bladed front & square-notch rear sights, action job w/crisp trigger, and checkered plastic grips. Retired Texas Ranger Ron Charles Stewart was a highly regarded law enforcement officer who served with the Texas Rangers for over 14 years, with a career spanning from 1970 to 1995. Following his 1970 graduation from the DPS Academy, Stewart served as a Highway Patrolman and an undercover narcotics agent. He later served as a Texas Ranger from 1980 to 1993 in Central Texas and later in the ""Big Bend"" region until 1995. After retiring, he worked as a U.S. Marshal special deputy and was a certified firearms instructor. Born in 1945, he was also a U.S. Army veteran. The Texas Ranger Association Foundation recognized his service and career contributions. Metal shows light marks and speckles on the cylinder & barrel but the overall condition is very good. Includes original factory box with manual, catalog, test fired target, and purchase & transfer invoices.
