Fantastic US Fire Arms (USFA) SAA revolver, Cal .45 Colt, with Pre-war blue barrel and grip, vivid color case hardened hammer/frame/loading gate, fire blued small parts, and ivory grips, NIB!
Description:
Standard configuration USFA SAA revolver, Cal .45 Colt with 5.5” barrel having fixed front and notched rear sight. Top of barrel with single line USFA address in Hartford, CT. Caliber marked on left side. Left side of frame with SAA referenced patent dates. Full SN under frame, grip, and the backstrap. This particular revolver was finished in “Armory Blue” by Turnbull, to simulate a Pre-war tone, who also color case hardened the hammer, frame, and loading gate. Small parts finished with a highly polished fire blue. Grips are lightly aged smooth ivory. Complete with USFA forest green sleeve, plastic packet with instruction booklet and associated literature. Packed in original black box with grey egg crate foam and original cardboard shipping sleeve.
