"British Webley Mk III .455 (AH8375) (CONSIGNMENT)

Serial No. 76282, circa 1890s, .455, 4"" barrel. Finish has a grey patina with traces of original blue present. Back strap is inscribed with E. Cuthberston. Bore is bright with strong rifling noted. Cuthberston would Serve in the Boer War, World War 1 were he would be wounded in Ypres in 1915. Cuthberston would be active in the Home Guard during the early part of WWII and would unfortunately pass away in 1942. Checkered Brown grips are good with minor scratches noted. CONSIGNMENT
