Bore is good with strong rifling visible, minor frosting is noted. Left side of the frame is inscribed with ""Capt. F.H. Peter M.C./1ST R.W.F."" Capt. Peter received many commendations during the War. A copy of the Edinburgh Gazette dated Nov. 27th 1916 details conspicuous gallantry in action. Checkered grips show some handling wear a large chip is noted on the bottom by the lanyard. Great example of a Great War service pistol.
