Approximately 50% original blue is remaining with most being on the "" church steeple"" cylinder. It is noted that these early models have assembly numbers, which are matching to the revolver. Bore is bright with strong rifling visible. Wooden checkered grips show expected wear with some minor wood loss visible. Milner Letter states this revolver was sold to H. Stinger in 1894 and given to his son Fredrick W. Stinger who would serve the British Military until his death in 1916 in England. (Consignment)
