According to, Wikitree, William Alfred Lindsay-Stewart, a captain in the Grenadier Guards, heroically held an advanced position on the Somme against repeated attacks. He was killed in action in September of 1916. Revolver is very good with approximately 80% original finish. Bore is excellent. Grips show some wear, no chips or cracks. Very good overall condition with Wikitree print out. A fantastic piece of WWI history.
