Nickel finish is approximately 95%, Front grip strap is inscribed with ""Major R.A. Lyell I.A."" Bore is good with strong rifling and frosting in the grooves. Wooden checkered grips are very good with minor handling wear noted. Major Lyall served in Indian and China, During the outbreak of WWI Major Lyall would command the 1st Kashmir Rifles in East Africa in action against Von Lettow and later in Palestine. Great looking example of a Nickel Webley W.S. Target model with WWI service!
