British Mk. VI Webley Service Revolver by Enfield (1925-Dated)
Description:
Serial #6965, .455 Webley, 6" barrel with a very good bore that has a small amount of freckling within the grooves. This is a 1925-dated, Enfield-made revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, and barrel, with the metal retaining 92-95% of an armory reapplied blue finish that has some scattered patches of mild pinprick pitting, as well as silvering and fading along the high edges and projections. The revolver is extensively marked with prominent Surplus and Commercial sale stamps on the left side of both the frame and barrel. The black composite grips are "S" marked at the butt ("Small" size), and have minor handling marks and flattening of the points on both panels. The lock-up is tight and the revolver is in fine-excellent condition overall. This is a very nice, unconverted Mk. VI Webley. FFL or C&R
