Very Rare to find Revolver chambered for the .577 cal pistol cartridge. In excellent condition mechanically, Locks up in single and double action like a vault. Francotte quality all the way through. Solid lock up and minty bore and cylinder. 61/4 " brl. Original nickel finish. Great wood grip. excellent through out. Markings are very clear, # 2210 on left side of frame. Upper left side reads Brevet counet with the letters AF between them and a number 1763 under those words.Right side of barrel says Aceir Fondu, Top of the Barrel says ROUXEL ARQ A PARIS. a retailer? The piece is solid and functions very well. The case is vintage with vintage cleaning rod, newer London type turnscrew, silver oiler of current vintage ,A leather Francotte label on the inside of the lid.
