P. Webley & Son Model Metropolitan Police Revolver chambered in .450 Webley. These revolvers were made were manufactured from 1883 to 1911, with serial numbers running between 500 and 98,000. It holds 6 rounds of .450 Boxer and is short and stout, being intended for concealed carry by the police. It is also equipped with a lanyard. On the left side of the frame is stamped "WEBLEY'S" over a pair of cuffed hands. The revolver loads via a loading gate on the right side, and the ejector rod is nested in the cylinder's axis pin. The cylinder is fluted. The overall condition is good. The original wooden grip is checkered and in good condition with handling marks. The bore is in very good condition with sharp rifling.
