WEBLEY & SCOTT, LTD MARK IV in .38 S&W caliber which was formerly called the .38/200 caliber. The two cartridges are exactly the same: the .38/200 shoots a 200 grain bullet; the .38 S&W shoots a 140 grain bullet. This piece of WWII history was made in the UK in 1943 with 2 1/8" barrel. (bright, glossy bore) , single/double action, four (4) matching serial numbers (82885) and nickel WAR FINISH and black checkered Webley grips. The action is tight, crisp and smooth. Excellent condition...has a nice fit in your hand. A very rare specimen with British proof mark on left side of the frame with lanyard ring.
