Webley WG Army Model, .455/.476 caliber. Built in 1901 with checkered walnut grips and a 6″ barrel marked Army & Navy CSL. The back strap is inscribed W.H.G. Thorne=William Hubert Gillespie Thorne. This has the Milner research letter. Thorne was the Inspector General of Police in Barbados, one of the Connaught ranger in Africa and additional extensive military history included. This has all matching serial numbers, about 70% blue and the bore is VG-VG+.
