Webley WG Army Models, .455/.476 caliber, Double Cased Set with Provenance

Webley WG Army Models, .455/.476 caliber. Both marked Army & Navy CSL on the top of the 6″ barrels. #17200 has replaced hard rubber grips, all matching numbers, with about 95% blue and an excellent bore. #17226 has proper style replacement grips, all matching numbers with about 70% blue and a VG+ Bore. The Milner research letter indicates that this pair was purchased 1 day apart by a George valentine Dove. Dove became a Lieutenant, and served in the Boer war& WWI. Much military history is included. This set is in a relined, blue felt lined oak case with accessories.
