Adams Arms RARE Pocket Revolver .31 Caliber

Description:
This is an Antique Adams Patent Pocket Revolver Double Action in .31 Caliber. These rare guns were manufactured by Massachusetts Arms Company in 1857-1861. There were approximately 4300 made with the 3 1/4 inch barrel. These guns were easier and faster to use due to their double action and had another feature of having a projection on the front of the cylinder that prevented fouling to enter around the cylinder pin. They also had a one piece frame and a sliding safety on the right side of the frame. All numbers match. It has a loading lever on the left side of the barrel and is in overall very good condition. The trigger return needs adjustment, but the gun will function. A desirable gun for the Civil War Era Collector.
