For sale is a D-Technik A.S.Sa vz. 58 Sporter Carbine, chambered in the iconic 7.62x39mm cartridge. This is an early import example with serial number 00589 (sub-1000 production), making it a highly desirable variant for collectors and enthusiasts of the Czech vz. 58 platform. The rifle is in excellent used condition and features a folding metal stock and Bakelite furniture.
The vz. 58 is the Czech counterpart to the Soviet AK-47, but it is a completely different design—lighter, more accurate, and mechanically distinct. It uses a short-stroke gas piston system (unlike the AK's long-stroke) and a unique locking breech design, resulting in a smoother operating rifle with excellent accuracy.
