Description:

Comes with a letter from John Dickson & Son stating "Alex Henry No. 4028 is a .500 Best Double Express Rifle with 28" Damascus Barrels, Left Back Action completed 18th November 1876". Is currently housed in a modern case. The top of the barrel rib says "ALEXR HENRY EDINBURGH AND LONDON PATENT NO 3098/ MAKER TO THIER ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCE OF WALES AND DUKE OF EDINBURGH". Gun has been refinished but the price reflects that.
