Alex Henry Percussion Double Rifle with Damascus Barrels .52 Caliber
Description:
This fine cased double rifle was made by Alexander Henry It has 29 inch barrels with a two leaf rear sight with 1 standing. The caliber is axually 52 GUAGE. The locks are unusual in that the hammers have 3 notches and the first will take the hammer safety. the other 2 are half cock and full cock. The case has almost all of the impliments, to include a capper, patch cutter, bullet mold that casts a "sugar loaf" bullet, nipple wrench, powder flask, bullet starter,and several items that I have no idea what they are for. It weighs 9 3/4 pounds. It is engraved with a number 2 which indicates that it was one of several guns. This is a high quality gun that has been very well cared for and could be put into service today. Check it out with the ZOOM, you will like it.
