The Maharaja of Dholpur's Alexander Henry Hammerless Single Shot Rifle in 450/400 BPE

Description:
As pictured on pg 102, Vol. 1 of Wal Winfer's British Single Shot Rifles, this is a Henry best quality snap action underlever rifle built for an Indian king: Rana Nihal Singh, Maharaja of Dholpur. With a mint bore and original finish throughout, this fine example of The Golden Age of rifle making shows very little use. If one appreciates the superior style and quality of arguably the greatest Scottish maker of them all, a better representation would be hard to find. The crocodile skin case includes all the original accessories. Vintage ammo and RCBS reloading dies included.
