J. Stevens A&T Co. .22 L.R. cal.  Single shot Model 44 "Ideal"
W/ 3/4" brass Tube, Wollensak scope. Seems to be about 4x.
Scope mount exterior adjustments work perfectly.
Bore is excellent, scope is clear with clear crosshairs. This rifle is very accurate..
Swiss style buttplate, with all Original finish.
Action locks up tight, the lever has a nice crisp snap when the action is closed.
This is a fine example of early Stevens craftsmanship. made somewhere between 1903-1910.
Looks like a closet queen that hasn't seen much use in the last 120 or so years.
