This Hill Country Rifles R1 Carbon Rifleman chambered in .280 Ackley Improved is a premier long-range hunting system that does not show any signs of wear and it looks new. It features a defiance action with 20 MOA picatinny rail, a precision 24-inch Benchmark 1:8.5 twist # 5 contour carbon fiber wrapped barrel  with a HCR muzzlebrake that provides the perfect balance of weight savings and maximum ballistic performance along with a spiral fluted bolt, carbon fiber stock painted dark brown with tann adb black web, a Seekins bipod rail, a Trigger tech trigger set at 2.5 lbs and picatinny rail. The rifle was tested with 140 Nosler Trophy Grade140 grain accubond with a 3 shot 0.413 inch group at 3164 fps average speed. This rifle has had very little use, the original owner never got to take it on a hunt. I'm guessing has less that 40 rounds through it. You are virtual buying a new rifle at a used price.
