Serial No. 3033, circa 1859, .53 caliber, 35"" round barrel. First bolt-action rifle to be issued to U.S. forces with approximately 1500 being issued. Overall very good plus condition with 95% original blue remaining. Stock has minor nicks and dings with some areas of raised grain noted. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling visible. Action functions correctly.
