Schuetzen – Target – System Burgsmüller – 8.15x46R made by H Burgsmüller & Sohne   
This original Schuetzen System Burgsmüller rifle has a blued tapered octagon 1” to 13/16” x 29-1/2” barrel with a matted top flat that is fitted with an adjustable rear sight and shrouded blade front sight. Inscribed on the right flat is H Burgsmüller & Sohne in silver wash. The bore is very good with sharp rifling. The P grade European Walnut buttstock and forend are fitted to the color case hardened falling block action with double set triggers. Inscribed on the top of the action is Syst Burgsmüller and initials DRGM. The action and color case hardened steel Schuetzen butt plate are very tastefully engraved. Comes with a rear tang peep sight that is adjustable for both windage and elevation along with 2 sight adjustment keys. The rifle is also mounted with the original sling swivels. Length of pull is 13”, weight is 12.2 lbs. OAL is 50-1/4”. Please Note: Unrepaired hair line cracks are seen behind the action on the right side, behind the tang on the right side and up through the checkering toward the thumb rest. Good wood to metal fit – made by H Burgsmüller & Sohne. Condition: Good.
