"NSN, circa 19th century, .70 caliber, 31 ¼" octagonal barrel with a faint Damascus pattern and cannon-style muzzle. Barrel exhibits a dark brown/grey patina with light engraving visible at the breech. Secured by a single brass barrel band. Stock shows expected handling and usage wear, with a dark, aged finish. The rear of the stock features mother-of-pearl inlay, with some loss noted, and is further decorated with brass bands and engraved brass sheets near the lock plate in geometric motifs. Action does not function correctly.
