At offer is a Beautiful J.W. ASTON Full Stock Flintlock .69 Caliber Smooth Bore with Ocatagon to Round 38" barrel. It has Roman Drop Style Tiger Stripe Maple Stock with Brass Fittings. The action works well. The rifle has some dings and a couple of minor cracks that could easily be glued if desired. The brass buttplate, trigger guard and plate opposite the lock are lightly engraved; the brass stock cap has a small crack at the tip. The ramrod has what appears to be a pewter tip and if not original is certainly very old. This is a appears to be very honest old rifle. I do not accept trades but am happy to consider serious offers.
