FULL STOCK FLINTLOCK SPORTING RIFLE
Description: Contemporary flintlock muzzle loading rifle chambered in 52 caliber. 42 inch octagon barrel with a bright bore and strong rifling. Barrel is a plum/brown patina with sharp edges and some toning. Sights include German silver blade front sight and a v-notch rear sight. On top of the barrel is marked "Dale Johnson". The lock retains most all of the original case colors with very nice scrollwork. Brass furnitlure. There is several scroll engraved brass Inlays as well as brass detailing around the patch box. Stock is of a beautiful curly maple with a left side cheek piece. Brass tipped ramrod is present. This is a quality made contemporary flintlock sporting rifle with beautiful brass detailing.
