Original India Pattern British Brown Bess Flint Lock Musket

Description:
This is an original British India Pattern Brown Bess musket. 38 1/2 inch barrel. Roughly .75 caliber smoothbore. Metal has some light pitting. Lock works well. Only has a crown on the lock. Wood is fine with some dings and handling marks, with a circle P marking in several areas. Brass mounted. Proper ram rod. The bayonet stud on the top of the barrel looks like it may be an older restoration, top jaw screw is a more modern replacement. Nice solid gun overall.
