"British East India Company Model F Pattern of 1842 Percussion Musket .75 Caliber (47666)
Description: "NSN, manufactured circa 1845–1851, .75 caliber, 39" round barrel. Unlike earlier models, the Model F was purpose-built as a percussion musket rather than converted from flintlock. Barrel shows a light grey finish blended with areas of darker grey patina. Lock plate is marked with the Rampant Lion of the East India Company, and the trigger guard features Nepalese script. Stock has been refurbished and displays signs of “combat damage" on the right side, adding character to the piece. Action holds securely at both half and full cock.
