"D. Nippes 1840 conversion musket (AL7321)

Description:
"Model 1840 Flintlock musket with D.S. Nippes conversion with Maynard tape primer magazine door. Musket is in overall good condition with brown patina noted on metal surface. Action functions correctly. Wood is good with minor handling wear noted. Lock and tang are both marked 1842. Handsome cartouches are present. Only 2000 of these were ever made.
