"Nepalese British Pattern 1853 Rifled Musket .577 (47665) (AUSTX)
Description:
"NSN, manufactured circa 1850s, chambered in .577 with a 33 ½" round barrel. Metal surfaces show a smooth grey patina with light surface oxidation present. The barrel bears markings that roughly translate to “In the year J/28." Brass trigger guard and nose cap exhibit a pleasing, aged patina. The stock has been refurbished and is smooth overall, with light handling impressions visible. Action holds at both half and full cock. A solid example of a Nepalese-used Pattern 1853 rifle.
