".58 caliber .32"" octagon to round barrel North West percussion trade gun by Parker Field & Co. manufactured in 1875. Metal is a dark brown patina, lock plate is marked Parker, Field/&Co./1875/London and has the Hudson's Bay trade mark forward of the hammer. Wood is good with scattered dings and mars, minor wood loss is located by the mortise. Action functions correctly and is tight, it is unusual to see a percussion rifle still be manufactured while the cartridge and lever gun were being popular. (DALLAS LOCATION)
