#1351A  F. WASSMANN PERCUSSION HALF STOCK DELUXE TARGET RIFLE, 50 cal., 32” oct. bbl., false muzzle & bullet starter, lockplate, trigger guard, buttplate & frame are all engraved with a light floral engraving, top of bbl. marked “F. Wassermann Washington D.C.”, target peep sight that screws into top of tang, one piece checkered stock & forend, cheek rest, large curved crescent shaped buttplate, DST, fancy platinum blow out plugs, fancy spur trigger guard, pewter forend tip, original Hickory cleaning rod, platinum fence around nipple, 2 screw in top of bbl. at rear, probably for some type of rear sight that is missing, metal finish on bbl. is getting thin, casehardening colors are starting to fade from lock, breech & so forth, VG wood, very nice burl pattern in left side of stock, mint bore, Wassermann was in business from 1860-1872 building percussion target rifles.  $7500
