GERMAN JAEGER RIFLE BY "V. FUNK & SOHNE, SUHL

Description:

.577 caliber, 29" swamped octagon barrel secured by three keys, with folding leaf rear. Beautifully engraved with maker's name in gold on the barrel and engraved on the lock.
Set triggers, half cock hammer safety, and fancy grip extension lower tang. Full length lovely carved stock with horn forend cap and sliding wooden patchbox. In very nice condition with crisp engraving and sharp metal edges. It shows some evidence of being lightly cleaned. Super wood.
