Description:
Early 19th century New England converted rifle measuring about 56 1/2 incjhes overall and a round barrel of 41" long, and a caliber of about .69 smooth botr attesting to it being issued as a flintock ( the caliber of Rev. War Fremnch weapons) Conversion of drum and nipple and the hammer works good on both notches.The barrel has raised corrosion from long term stroage and the walnut wood stock is complete and a repaired cracl just before the lockplate. Furniture is chisel engraved brass, woth an early iron tulip ram-rod.The long barrel has three wedges also.
