U.S. Civil War Military Issued Remington Model 1863 Zouave Rifle & Bayonet

An Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued Remington Model 1863 Zouave Rifle & Original Saber Bayonet In Fine Untouched  That Would Be A Fine Addition To Any Civil War Collection. All original & complete. The rifle has fine metal & markings throughout. The lock is is marked "REMINGTON'S, ILION, N,Y," EAGLE/U.S., & Dated 1863. The top of the barrel is marked with a "V.P. & Eagle, & Also Dated 1863. The left edge of the barrel is marked, "STEEL, & U.S. Inspected R.K.A." All of the metal on the rifle has an untouched plum blue mixing with brown color to it. All of the brass hardware on the rifle is very fine and untouched throughout. All of the wood on the rifle is fine plus throughout with crisp edges and a wonderful color to it. There are a couple of small dings in spots. On the backside of the wood are two crisp & clear "U.S. Inspectors Marks" stamped on it. The bore is fine in it. The original Saber Bayonet is fine throughout including the blade & brass hardware. This Is A Fine Example Of An  Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued Remington Model 1863 Zouave Rifle & Original Saber Bayonet That Would be A Fine Addition To Any Civil War Collection!
