MOROCCAN SNAPHAUNCE TAOUZILT MUSKET FROM RAS EL OUED CIRCA 1750-1800. 59” o/a with 45” octagon to round .60 caliber smoothbore barrel. Ornate engraved silver niello mounts on stock. Brass trigger guard and barrel bands. Lock in working order with the original parts. Minor wood loss on forend. Well used but very colorful example of type used by the Hill Tribes of Morocco against both the French and the Spanish.
