US Military Model 1816 Harpers Ferry Flintlock Musket

Description:
This model 1816 Harpers Ferry flintlock musket dated 1828 on the lock. 42 inch .69 caliber barrel with US Proof marks secured with two barrel bands with springs and a combination front strap nose cone. The lock has several inspectors marks and is maker marked Harpers Ferry, 1828, with the Federal Eagle over US. A very nice example
of a Harpers Ferry Model 1816 in its original configuration and in good mechanical working order.
