British Military Flintlock Iron Barrel Blunderbuss. The overall length is 31 ½”. The muzzle diameter is 1.15”. All the metal has a gray brown patina. The touch hole is about ¼”. The stock is fair with undersized butt missing wood on both sides of the rear thimble tip, missing wood around the lock, and a repaired crack at the lock top front. The barrel has two proof marks. The lock is marked “Tower” to the rear, in the center it has the crown/GR Cypher for George III (King from 1760-1820) and to the right has the crown/broad arrow ordnance mark. Most of the furniture is proud of the stock. The action functions. Fill that hole in your early British collection with this Military Flintlock example. Very reasonably priced!
