The 11.7X42R mm centerfire caliber Danish Model 1867 rolling block rifles were manufactured in Denmark under license to Remington. The tang is marked KJOBENHAVN (Copenhagen) and the left side of the receiver has a crown over M-1867. The approx. 35.25"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The barrel has approx. 90% blue. It has a lug for a sword bayonet on the right. The case hardened receiver and action are silvered. The buttstock is very good with dssue dents and dings, a matching number to the barrel, and a brass inverntory disc (HAR over 1865) on the right butt. The forearm is very good with issue dents and dings. The ramrod and swivels are present. The action functions correctly. This is a much better than average rifle.
