"Inscribed New Haven Arms Volcanic Carbine (W10358)

"

Inscribed New Haven Arms Volcanic carbine. 16½" Barrel with a dark gray patina. Barrel is nice and sharp with some light pitting. Frame is excellent with a nice dark even patina. Frame is inscribed “Aaron Straus Fish/ Baltimore/ 1837*1863". Wood is excellent. We have not been able to find any information on an Aaron Fish in Baltimore during this period. Very nice period inscribed Volcanic carbine.
