SOLD THE RIFLE HAS SHIPPED Listing a original Winchester 1885 High Wall in 38/55 , sn 58725 , sporting a the #3 Octagon 30" barrel which was standard in this caliber and not sanded , oiled yes but proud to the metal. Fine bore for a 131 year old rifle was out shooting it this morning at 80 yd's. Mfg'd in 1892 comes with Cody letter. Mr Browning's first model rifle he sold to Winchester, when this rifle was put together his job was over seeing the manufacture of these fine rifles. In the half dozen plants Winchester had running out east. If you want a part of history , she came into the warehouse 11/14/1892 and shipped out the very next day order # 9940, I looked through the major sites and very few originals , suite your self maybe your happy with the new stuff seems the stories I read the writers don't even have real rifles, I took a bunch of pictures outside if you want any more call or text 920-590-3400 and I'll see what I can do, I'm a long time Collector thinning my herd.I ship only to a FFL of your choice or your own C&R, I will accept postal money orders or cashiers check.
