Listed for sale is a Enfield made Mark 3 Martini-Henry made in 1883 converted to 303 in 1896, Serial number 8471. It comes with a sling and a 1876 British Bayonet that was converted to fit on the smaller barrel on the converted 303. Bore is good with a strong rifling. Stock is solid with the usual marks of a military rifle which has seen some use. There is some minor pitting on the bottom of the barrel which is not unusual. There is also some pitting on the top of the barrel under the hand guard just in front of the receiver caused by moisture getting under the hand guard. This would pose no safety issues. The blade of the bayonet has pitting but could be cleaned up. Because this has been converted to 303 ammo is easy to get and at a reasonable price. Shipping is at actual cost by UPS.
