Description:
Here is a nice old Marlin lever gun. Appears all original with a very nice bore. Wood is original also but it does have the crack in the fore-arm that so many of this model do. This crack is not "open" (see pictures) and could be repaired or left as it is. I shot this rifle many times and never noticed it until I was giving the rifle a check before listing it. A few years back I got 2nd place in our club 100 yard gong shoot with this rifle. Had the rifle had a better operator it would have won first. Caliber is .38-55, an old west hunting and target caliber with brass or loaded ammunition readily available. No ffl or C&R required to have this come to your door unless local law prohibits. $50 shipping and insurance via priority mail.
