L. Pomeroy Model 1808 .69 caliber flintlock musket. Musket is in overall good condition. Metal has a grey patina with mottled oxidation. Lock plate is marked ""S.N.Y"" only. Barrel is unique, being marked ""S. CT 1812"". Stock is good with handling wear. Two initials and dates are carved into the butt stock left side. Great example of a War of 1812 shoulder arm that saw services in to the late 1820's
