"U.S. Model 1816 Contract Musket by L. Pomeroy (AL4819)

Description:
"U.S. Model 1816 Contract Musket by L. Pomeroy. Metal has a gray patina. Lock plate and barrel are dated 1829. Barrel is stamped “Conn". Stock shows handling wear and usage. There is a piece missing at the rear of the lock plate. Cartouche is visible. Only about 21,600 of these were made from 1817-1836. Good looking contract Connecticut musket!
