"U.S. Springfield 1795 Type I Flintlock musket .69 caliber (AL8129)

"

NSN, made in 1800, .69 caliber, 45"" ""US"" marked smooth bore round barrel. Overall good condition with scattered grey patina visible on the barrel. Butt plate is dated ""1800"", first known dates to be seen were ""1799"". Lock is Eagle/US with ""Springfield"" curved behind the hammer. Action holds at half and full cock. Stock is very good plus condition with initials and faint cartouche visible by side plate. Great early American shoulder arm!
