"Virginia Manufactured 2nd Model Flintlock Musket. Late style. Lock plate is dated 1818. Approximately 14,000 were manufactured. Metal has a brown patina. Stock has traces of an old lacquer, applied at some point. “JW" is stamped under the trigger guard at the rear. Great looking 2nd Model.
