BROWN BESS MUSKET 75 CAL. 2nd MODEL

Description:
A fine Brown Bess musket in .75 cal. with a 39 1/4" long barrel, and very clean bore. The lock-plate has a Crown over GR, and TOWER at the back behind the hammer. Does not have the front barrel sling swivel. Top of barrel has proof over GR, broad arrow , CROWN over crossed scepters, in two places! English walnut wood stock is complete, and whole showing little wear or marks. Has a correct tulip shaped head on the iron ram rod. All brass trim, and an S shaped side plate. Action works good. Gun bore is very shoot-able and has mild pits. This gun looks like a transition musket with second model proofs on the barrel, but third model barrel length. One of the cleanest Brown Besses I've seen. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in. If you can only pay with a card let me know.
