Description: Classic Early Antique Algerian Berber Long Musket Offered her for sale and just acquired along with a collection of antique Indo Persian firearms and edged weapons is this original and untouched mid 1800s Algerian Berber musket. From our research it appears to be an Algerian Berber musket similar to those depicted on page 36 of Tirri's book Magrib to Mogul: Islamic Weapons. The musket is complete and in working condition. It is however covered in a “crusty” surface patina overall which we have not touched. Ornately decorated with hammered brass this very long musket will certainly be a welcome addition for the right collector.
