GEORGE III FLINTLOCK INDIAN TRADE FUSIL CIRCA 1810-20. 52” o/a with 36” round .69 caliber round smoothbore barrel. Lock plate stamped behind the hammer “TOWER” and with a “CROWN” cypher in front. Walnut stock with brass mounts. Diminutive cheaply made trade fusil probably of Liege manufacture. Good overall with the frizzen pan repaired and the kind of wear one would expect from an Indian used fusil. Metal with dark original patina and stock lightly refinished. Original ramrod.
